Our Design Tip: Switch it UP!! Put your bridesmaids in white or cream and YOU wear the color! Add a bouquet that ranges in all shades of pale pink to darker pink for a romantic eye-catching touch!

Old Country Charm

Crazy for Country Charm Weddings! Country weddings provide an easy laid back vibe with many DIY concepts. This is the perfect charming little theme for the couple who is looking for a fun, easy-going wedding day while saving money and time! Use an old barn or ranch as the venue. Design Ideas: Something New: White tents with white lights and flowers, Hay stacks and Hand-Painted signs. Something Old: Big Old Iron Wheels with flowers wrapped around the spokes, Iron Lanterns filled with white glowing candles, Barrels full of flowers and an Old Antique Country Wagon with some twinkling lights 2 take pictures on. Paint a sign that says "Just Married" and stick it on the back of the wagon- or take pictures holding it. Use Kerchiefs in different colors as the napkins, and use cactus centerpieces. Have home-made candy apples and pies (blueberry for Something Blue)  on the dessert bar and give out home-made jams as a wedding favor.  Encourage the wedding party and the guests to wear country attire! Think: cowboy boots, hats & of course for "Something borrowed" have your band or dj play some country music! Yeehaw!

Summer Engagement Party Dresses: The Must-Haves!

Sue Wong Strapless Feather DressSue Wong Cap-Sleeve Babydoll DressSue Wong Cascading Ruffle Gown

Summer is the perfect time to have an outdoor engagement party. Wear a dress in soft hues- or a metallic color has a little sparkle- this will look great with a tan!  Pair with sandal pumps with novelty detail. We love Bloomingdales' dress selection by Sue Wong. A designer known for her romantic style, feminine detail and a little glimmer. Want something more elegant? Opt for a longer gown like Nicole Millers white gown with cut-out back details. Style Tip: Wear hair up in a loose french twist. Add diamond drop earrings and matching teardrop necklace.

Destination Weddings

Destination Weddings are among the most beautiful weddings in the world. They are simple and serene and of course, a little piece of heaven! The backdrop provides a gorgeous aesthetic, minimizing the need for lighting, fabrics, and even an abundance of flowers. What a beautiful way to celebrate such a special moment in time. Our style tip: wear a simple, backless a-line dress, hair pulled back with a flower in it. The clean lines of the dress will look elegant and sophisticated.  See below for our favorite Tahiti destination weddings:

Unique Centerpieces!

Unique Wedding: Floating Centerpieces.  Tired of hiding guests behind obtrusive vases at your tables? Use a low hanging flower chandelier instead! (Can be made with a foam wreath or a foam ball instead) To add upward depth and dimension: use tree branches with leaves on them, weave fabric and ribbon through the branch arms. Tie flowers to remaining open spaces on branch arms. Use ceiling spot lights to accent each bouquet. Like sparkle! Add hidden floating crystals that just catch the light!

Feathers, Feathers, Feathers!

From Nature to the Runway Feathers are in!! Feathers are a great and inexpensive way to add drama and glamour to your wedding! Design Tip: Toss a boa, in your color scheme, on every other guest chair. This makes for a fun, whimsical prop that guests can dance in and take home as a souvenir! Add feathers to the cake, centerpieces, shoes & hair!
We love: The Feather Bouquet A whimsical way to soften any bouquet! We love wedding flowers:
